Iracambi and partners saving forests

thanks to SOS Mata Atlântica

Iracambi has been working with SOS Mata Atlântica since the beginning of 2010 – first on a program to of institutional strengthening and now on a six month program to encourage landowners to set up private nature reserves on their forest land. Iracambi’s own reserve dates back to 2010 and we hope very soon to bring you news of another reserve that we are planning to set up with help from international partners. In the meantime Program Coordinator Gustavo is hard at work, and we are thrilled to have the opportunity to work more closely with ARPEMG, the association of private reserve owners in our state.
